Anker Haus — Charlotte's First Pocket Neighborhood
Anker Haus is Charlotte’s first pocket neighborhood, comprised of modern, minimalist townhomes for rent. Situated about a mile from the heart of Plaza Midwood, AH was built and is managed by MyNiche Apartments. We needed to communicate what a pocket neighborhood is, and why Anker Haus is so awesome. I worked with MNA’s Senior Brand Manager on copy concept and direction, and crafted all content for the property’s website.

Anker Haus is Charlotte’s first pocket neighborhood, comprised of modern, minimalist townhomes for rent. Situated about a mile from the heart of Plaza Midwood, AH was built and is managed by MyNiche Apartments. We needed to communicate what a pocket neighborhood is, and why Anker Haus is so awesome. Our multi-story duplex, triplex, and quadraplex homes give you the space you’ve been looking for. Parents and siblings coming for the weekend? You’ve got room.
But it gets better. Anker Haus homes were built in small clusters around shared neighborhood amenities — designed with community in mind.
A salt water pool, a fitness center, a large dining area perfect for grilling, a dog park, and a dreamy amount of green space and community alleyways meant for mingling with neighbors; there is very little left, if any, to be desired.

Who is this for?
TLDR: We built Anker Haus for grown-ups. But, grown-ups who want the freedom of renting.
Anker Haus is for you if…
- You’re ready to graduate from your dorm-sized apartment
- You welcome flexibility in your life. You might move to another city some day
- But….you also want to live like an actual adult who can entertain, have house guests, and set up a dedicated WFH space
- You love the look of contemporary condos, but you don’t want to sell a kidney to buy one. (How much money can you get for a kidney, anyways?)
- You’re just not ready to commit to a mortgage
But really…what makes these different from any other apartments?
TLDR: Anker Haus homes are not apartments. Yep, we said it. Not. Apartments.
